2. Iron Chefs: Asian Fusion Private Dinner (Up to 30 guests)

3. Nine-Day Tour of China for Up to Four People


Waring is blessed with deep and knowledgeable Chinese connections and resources.  Now, with an in-the-know fellow Waring family as your planning consultants and language experts, take advantage of this good fortune to embark on the most authentic, magical (and customized) trip imaginable to China!

  

Travel to three Chinese cities of your choice: Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Suzhou or Hangzhou. In each of the three cities, three days of hotels, meals, and sightseeing will be expertly arranged and paid for by your gracious local sponsors, guaranteeing that you will have access to food and attractions that typical tourists only dream of. What an amazing way to learn about the culture and communities of some of Waring’s international students! Yew-Cheong Tham, your consultant, will coordinate between you and the local families and help plan any auxiliary trips you may want to take while in Asia. The winning bidder will be responsible for visas and international and intra-Asian flights. Could be used for a family of four or two couples. Travel must occur by August 2020.

4. Four Nights in Lunenberg, Vermont

9. Fourteen-Foot Wooden Skiff Handmade by Waring Students


Row, row, row your boat! Purchase this handcrafted wooden skiff made by eager and industrious Waring students during the June 2018 Endterm. With esteemed Waring faculty member and certified Sea Captain John Wigglesworth at the helm, and in collaboration with the historic Lowell Boat Shop (established in 1793 and located on the Merrimack River in Amesbury), students carefully created this amazing seaworthy vessel! Designed as a Morse Skiff (a variation of the Amesbury Skiff), this maritime treasure was made using traditional wooden boat building techniques under the direction and experience of Lowell’s own boat builders. Made of pine and oak, this nautical charmer can be used for rowing, fishing, birdwatching, or any other seafaring activity you desire. Proceeds will be split equally between Waring and the Lowell Boat Shop. Ahoy!
